Michael Maggiore,

We’re excited to welcome Executive Director Michael Maggiore to Travanse Living™ at Grayslake!

Mike brings to our community more than 20 successful years of senior health and services leadership, strategic planning, business development and day-to-day operational experience.

Complementing his stellar vocational qualifications, Mike’s positive attitude, enthusiasm and genuine interest in the lives and well-beings of seniors made him the natural choice to lead this vibrant assisted living community. He loves engaging residents in fun discussions about topics that interest them, from history, archeology and astronomy to golf and fishing to a good mystery or Steinbeck novel!

“I am very much looking forward to working with our residents,” says Mike. “I have a deep amount of gratitude and respect for what they have accomplished in their lives and the contributions they have made.”

Mike’s interest in the lives of seniors and their families is evident in his hands-on approach to the Executive Director role, and his door is always open to our associates, future residents, families and visitors!

When he’s not making Travanse Living™ at Grayslake a great place to live and work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Mike is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois

Terri Jordan,

Director of Sales and Marketing

Terri Jordan brings 20-plus years of experience and leadership in health care and senior living.  As one of two directors of Sales and Marketing with Travanse Living at Grays Lake, Terri’s top priority is to understand the needs of seniors and their families who are in the process of making one of the most important decisions of their lives when considering assisted living or memory care.  Terri is passionate about personally helping to educate families each step of the way toward providing the best possible solution for their lives.  Terri is also involved in working with local community organizations and senior groups to help them learn about options as one ages.

Terri received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and marketing from Elmhurst College and has recently earned her Master of Business Administration and Marketing Management degree from Benedictine University.  She holds the distinction of Certified Marketing Professional through LeadingAge national senior living consortium.

In her free time, Terri enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and time with her “fur-baby,” a high-spirited Jack Russell Terrier.

Shelby Noble,

Resident Care Director

Shelby Noble began her healthy career as a caregiver at 15-years-old, taking care of a senior woman in her whom who was diagnosed with dementia. She went on to get her CNA and work with seniors for five years after that, while going to school to obtain her RN. She attended St. Elizabeth's College of Nursing in New York, where she began her career as an RN in the behavioral health field.

Shelby moved to Illinois in January 2017 to pursue new opportunities. When Shelby is not caring for her residents, she is at home working on renovations and spending time with her animals -- a dog, Kody, and two cats, Indie and Nibbs.

Lauren Sukumar,

Generations Care Director

Lauren Sukumar is an LPN with over two years of assisted living and memory care experience. Obtaining her associates degree in biology and LPN certification in Phoenix, Lauren has lived in Illinois for two years and is happy to call it home. Prior to joining the team, Lauren worked for North Shore University Health System as a care coordinator and worked in a memory care facility for a year prior to focusing on Alzheimer's care.

Lauren actively participates with the Alzheimer's Association and enjoys participation in the Walk To End Alzheimer's held every October. Beyond caring for her residents, Lauren enjoys spending time with her two children and volunteering at their school functions. Lauren is excited to be part of the Travanse Living at Grayslake team. She strives to make a positive and significant impact in the lives of residents and their families.

Jessica Miles-Jones,

Business Office Director

Jessica previously worked as the Business Office Manager. Her unique skillset is ideal for Travanse Living as the support of the wellness department. Jessica is in charge of recruiting qualified and compassionate team members to provide the best quality of care for all residents. With tremendous work ethic and commitment to residents, Jessica keeps the wellness department running smoothly. Jessica is motheer to 2-year-old son, Justin-Carter. When not working with the residents, Jessica and Justin-Carter enjoy spending time together watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

John Costa,

Building Services Director

Meet John Costa, Building Services Director for Travanse LivingTM at Grayslake. John brings years of experience to our team – experience that will ensure our community is well taken care of on a daily basis.

John has overseen maintenance in a variety of settings, including long-term care communities. Prior to taking the helm at Travanse Living, he served as Maintenance Director at Alden Terrace Nursing Home in McHenry. He also served as a Facility Technician at a variety of Target locations. While serving in the US Air Force, John worked as a Vehicle Technician and Facility Maintenance Manager.
